Monks and nuns belonging to monasteries that have been entered into the registry of religious associations have the right to health insurance. The Ministry of the Interior will confirm to the Health Insurance Fund the right of the monastery to submit data.
Documents needed to make an entry into the database of the Health Insurance Fund is submitted by the monastery of which the person is a member.
Insurance will commence upon making the entry into the health insurance database.
Insurance will be terminated one month after the termination of membership.
You can check the validity of your health insurance in the service ‘My current account with the Health Insurance Fund’ of the state portal eesti.ee, by phoning the Health Insurance Fund’s customer service (+372) 669 6630.
