New Health Portal Brings People's Health Information Together

Today marks the start of a campaign titled "Curiosity is Healthy," a collaboration between the Health Insurance Fund and the Centre for Health and Welfare Information Systems (TEHIK), aiming to introduce the new health portal to the public and to increase awareness of its features and benefits.

According to Evgeni Nikolaevski, the product manager for the health portal at the Health Insurance Fund, the web-based health portal launched at the end of November last year offers user-friendly access to personal health data. The portal encompasses several functionalities, including the ability to view upcoming appointments, prescriptions that have not been picked up, investigations, analyses, and consultations from the last six months, as well as information and recommendations related to vaccinations.

"The new health portal has been designed with the user's needs in mind – viewing medical records through a computer or mobile device is now more convenient than before, as all health documents are located in one place, information is found more logically, and complex medical terms that were difficult for people to understand in the old patient portal have been eliminated," said the health portal's product manager. Among other things, a modern design ensures easier access to health data, taking into account the needs and wishes of people with visual impairments.
