The Health Insurance Fund, ensuring healthcare services to the insured of Estonia, is Estonia’s largest healthcare purchaser whose collaborating partners include around 3,000 service providers across Estonia. In addition, the Health Insurance Fund deems it important to also collaborate with international organisations and member states of the European Union, as well as share with other countries’ their experiences related to organising health care, and thus reinforce health insurance. The Health Insurance Fund collaborates more closely on an international level with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the World Bank, in addition to being a partner in OECD projects. As a member of the International Association of Mutual Benefit Societies (AIM), we can contribute to finding answers to different questions regarding European healthcare.
